Camp job assignments

Nothing makes an outpost trip more unbearable than a few doing all the work while others who may be used to 24-7 maid and butler service sit about and complain that their beverages are not cold. Cooking steak

Every one of our camps has a BBQ or two. They all have gas grills and good old style wood or charcoal grills. Steak, in my opinion, tastes best when done on wood or charcoal. Beaver on wheels

It is not often that our aircraft get to be on wheels.  In 1993 when we had our Beaver painted, it was flown on wheels from Ignace to Cambridge Minnesota by Randy and Brad.  It was painted the yellow we recognize it today and then flown back to be put back on floats.  I think the aircraft is more comfortable ...read more.

Doing the “little” things

Hard work

Many think our job is the best in the world.  I do agree.  But it is not without hard work.  Sometimes near the end of the day the couch becomes a place to recharge.

Finding partners to go fishing at Ignace Outposts is not a daunting task.  You might be suprised who may say “sure” and join you on a fly in adventure.
