Joey and Rob

Our pilot Rob and dock hand Joey seem to excel in research and development of our product.  They try to fish as much as  they can and I can’t blame them.

Pitching in

When the work needs to be done, everybody pitches in.  Our job descriptions seem to have a lot of addendums.  

Karen may spend most of her time in the office, but getting out to the camps is always a nice perk…  even if it requires a little work.

Out of Hibernation

Spring is the time of year that bears start moving around after a winter of hibernation.  We tend to do the same thing.  During the winter our office is in our home.  We can answer the phone, email and keep things afloat in our underwear at 3 am if we choose.  (no visuals please)

Fall Maintenance

Do you wonder what we do around Ignace Outposts when fishing ends?

In the fall we go through all our outboard motors – all 88 of them. Every motor is tuned and checked and repairs are made or motors are tagged for trade.

Tying one on

This boat is being flown from our Gamble Lake camp to Seseganaga Lake.
