Cold, clear and deep. This fly in lake offers a fishermen’s dream. Walleye, Northern, Lake trout, Northern pike and White fish. Irene lake is approximately 6000 acres with access to several other lakes as well. The lake has many drop offs, deep holes and shallow reefs. The open part of the lake holds trout and white fish and suspended large walleye. The shallower south end near our camp holds smallmouth bass, northern and large walleye. The walleye are larger than average for the area.
