Catch and release has been our policy with fish for many years. Keep some small ones to eat and release the big ones.

Royal Flush of Fishing at Irene Lake

Irene Lake offers a 5 species fishing experience. The Keen/Lendman/Loeding families tested the waters and found them all! Walleye were particularly hefty. They caught three 30″+ and 5 better than 28 inches. No poker faces here.

The Beaver and me

Check flights often include more than a casual visit to an outpost.  Besides regular duties such as checking on guests, facilities, fuel and propane supplies and maintenance, additional staff might ride along to update photos and do the little things such as measure the cabins for curtains.
