Check flights often include more than a casual visit to an outpost.  Besides regular duties such as checking on guests, facilities, fuel and propane supplies and maintenance, additional staff might ride along to update photos and do the little things such as measure the cabins for curtains.

We were doing some reminiscing with members of former owner Donald Jorgenson  who were here to celebrate his life and times in Ignace. Don passed away February 22, 2015 just two months after his brother, Gerald who started the Ignace Airways in the late 50’s and sold it to Don in 1972.
