Ignace Outposts Winter Adventures

Your adventure begins with a scenic 30 mile snowmobile ride leaving from our base on Agimak Lake. You will travel on a well maintained trail across lakes, portages and old logging roads. Once you arrive at Irene Lake you will find one of our cozy outpost cabins with wood and propane heat ready for your stay. Now it’s time to hit the ice, Lake Trout are usually the main target species with Walleye and Northerns also available. You can either fish from a portable shack, run and gun or just enjoy being out in the fresh air. Once your day of fishing is over you can head back to your warm cabin, fire up the sauna and relax for the evening.
