Water and Cats

We’ve heard that cats don’t like water. I don’t believe it. We had house cats years ago. Sometimes when I was on the dock they would come out and ask me to help them go for swim. You never know what is going to take your hook on Metionga Lake .  Chances are it is a feisty walleye looking for a dinner invitation, or a lunker northern testing your tackle and resolve. Sometimes it is something that looks prehistoric and plain weird – the fish I mean.
