Gold at the end of the Rainbow?

This picture was taken at Metionga Lake and there is no better lake in my opinion for walleye unless you include Flindt Lake , Seseganaga Lake , Kawaweogamama Lake , Tri Lake and Hilltop Lake .

Legend has it that there is gold at the end of the rainbow.  I guess in a way it is true.

For those who don’t speak French, the French word for more.

I have to think my kids grew up in a virtual paradise. Not much use for video games and TV in our house. If the activity was worth doing, it was usually done outside.

I came across this photo the other day of me and my son Mike. This picture was taken 20 years ago this summer. He more.

I’ve been asked several times to post about some of the history of Ignace Airways and Ignace Outposts.  Here is one of hopefully many trips down memory lane.

When we arrived in Ignace 24 years ago, we were not only welcomed by some the best fishing in the country but we also inherited an unique piece of history.  This more.

Posted by on Saturday, April 19, 2008 at 10:21 am

Over the last few years, I have received many emails regarding this monster northern.

All kinds of places have been claiming this fish from Saskatchewan, Lake of the Woods, Wisc. and Manitoba. It is no doubt it is a big fish. I would love to claim it for Seseganaga, Flindt, Hilltop or Metionga Lakes. I am sure more.
