To our American friends and neighbours

thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is the annual day of awful travel, family gatherings, a good football game – or two and thankfulness for all our blessings. Today we wish our friends south of the border a great day and please do count your blessings.  We are sure that no matter what situation you are in your blessings list is longer than your misfortunes list.

We also have Thanksgiving in Canada however here in the great white north, we celebrate Thanksgiving in October.  This gives us a little more time before Dec 25 to recover from seeing the relatives we have to travel great distances to see and to reflect on why we did move so far away.  The extra 40 days or so also makes the Christmas turkey a bit more appealing.

Now my thought for the day…
If you divide the circumference of a pumpkin by its diameter would you get

Pumpkin pi?
