Turtle eggs

This painted turtle created a place to lay her eggs right in front of our cabin at I rene Lake  

I suspect there is a gaggle, a flock, a herd, a murder, a swarm, a litter, a brood or whatever they call a group of turtles, swimming around the area.

Whitefish

Here is a typical size whitefish caught by Andy – we caught several whitefish during that first week of June 2011.” Mike

Catching multiple species of fish is an attraction on Irene Lake. These lake whitefish fight very hard and taste good too.
