Out of Hibernation

Spring is the time of year that bears start moving around after a winter of hibernation.  We tend to do the same thing.  During the winter our office is in our home.  We can answer the phone, email and keep things afloat in our underwear at 3 am if we choose.  (no visuals please)

Calgary Sport Show

I just returned from Calgary Alberta – home of the world’s largest rodeo.  We did a sport show there last week.  It is amazing, but even tho’ we live in Ontario, it takes less time to drive to Calgary than  it does to Toronto.

Return to Cold!

We just returned to Ignace from our first swing of sport shows. We spent 3 days doing a show in Minneapolis and then 4 days doing a show near Chicago. We left Chicago just ahead of a forecast blizzard on Monday and drove all the way through to Ignace. 770 miles in 13 hours and 8 minutes. Roads were good.

Happy New Year

Our holidays are over and we are on the road early New Years day to begin our show circuit. As much of a grind as the show circuit is we always look forward to seeing our guests/friends and potential guests in their own environment.

Winter in the Great White North

This past weekend we had our first winter storm. Blowing snow, temps around -30C with winds around 50 mph gave us a good reason to stay indoors. East of us highways and schools are closed. Here in Ignace were we are a little heartier. Life goes on – just a little cool.
