Heading south again

We haven’t even got the salt off the vehicle from our last run to sport shows.  We loaded up again and are off to the All Canada Milwaukee, Madison and Green Bay shows on this swing. 

We hope to see many of our guests and friends while we are on the road.

Through the eyes of a child

For those who think an Ignace Outposts trip is nothing more than fishing.

The Holzer family from Wisconsin have vacationed with us for many years. This fall, after their August family trip, Amy, their 10 year old daughter (5th grade) wrote the following piece for a school project on descriptive writing about her favorite place.

Return to Cold!

We just returned to Ignace from our first swing of sport shows. We spent 3 days doing a show in Minneapolis and then 4 days doing a show near Chicago. We left Chicago just ahead of a forecast blizzard on Monday and drove all the way through to Ignace. 770 miles in 13 hours and 8 minutes. Roads were good.

One of the Best! Hilltop Lake

Hilltop Lake offers abundant walleye and northern. This lake is relatively shallow (great for walleye) and offers approximately 3600 acres of prime fishing. Submerged islands, currents and weedy bays as well as a portage lake and river to explore make Hilltop a great family fishing destination.

Don’t forget the passport

On June 1, 2009, the U.S. government will implement the full requirements of the land and sea phase of Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative . The proposed rules require most U.S. citizens entering the United States at sea or land ports of entry to have a passport, passport card, or WHTI-compliant document .
